ASSITEJ South Africa is celebrating our 15th anniversary in 2022. The organisation began on 2 July 2007, and this day in 2022, will see us hosting our Birthday Celebrations at Amazwi National Museum of Literature.

11h30 – Playback theatre by MEQOQO Performers: Tyra Arends, Sive Bavuma, Hlumela Mpiti, Nine Magagula, Naledi Chuwe, Luvuyo Yanta, Masego Madisha
12h30 – Celebration in person and online in the Amazwi auditorium for invited guests

In addition, ASSITEJ SA storytellers from iStimela Sendaba, will be telling stories at Fingo festival and at Amazwi throughout the festival.
On 2nd July at Amazwi, from 10h00 – 13h30 we will be holding our 15 Year Birthday celebration. This will include a morning of storytelling, indigenous games, playback theatre, wishes from around the world and a moment to celebrate and remember!
